ABOUT ROWAN TREE PRESCHOOL
Our preschool is created to provide a rich experience that will prepare our children for their eventual entrance into school and life ahead. We are one of a growing number of private, Waldorf inspired preschools across the country.
Our early childhood program is developed to build the foundation for life long learning by having a verbally rich environment, working on language awarness as well as listening comprehension. Our curriculum is enlivened with storytelling, games, puppetry, painting, seasonal crafts, gardening, small animal care,and lots of Time for Wonder, Fantasy, Appreciation and Play. Art, movement and music are interwoven into the daily rhythm.

WHY IT'S IMPORTANT
Research on the developing brain shows that appropriate developmental early childhood experiences are the building blocks for sucessful executive functioning skills. These emerging skills are critical for being able to focus, hold and work with information, healthy impulse control and the ability to filter distractions.
